<h1 class="topictitle1">Create user profiles on iSeries A and iSeries B</h1>
<div><div class="section"><p>You want all of your users in the MYCO.COM Kerberos registry to
map to a single <span class="keyword">i5/OS™</span> user
profile on each of your <span class="keyword">iSeries™</span> systems.
Therefore, you need to create an <span class="keyword">i5/OS</span> user
profile on <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> A and <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> B.</p>
<p>Use the information
from your work sheets to create a user profile for these users:</p>

<ol><li><span>In <span class="keyword">iSeries Navigator</span>, expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">iSeries A</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">User and Groups</span></span><span class="uicontrol"></span>.</span></li>
<li><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">All Users</span>, and select <span class="uicontrol">New
User...</span>.</span></li>
<li><span>On the <span class="uicontrol">New User</span> dialog, enter <tt>SYSUSERA</tt> in
the <span class="uicontrol">User name</span> field.</span></li>
<li><span>In the <span class="uicontrol">Password</span> field, select <span class="uicontrol">No
password (sign-on not allowed)</span>.</span></li>
<li><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Capabilities</span>.</span></li>
<li><span>On the <span class="uicontrol">Privileges</span> page, select <span class="uicontrol">User</span> in
the <span class="uicontrol">Privilege class</span> field. Click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span> and
click <span class="uicontrol">Add</span>.</span></li>
</ol>
<div class="section"><p>Repeat these steps on <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> B,
but enter <tt>SYSUSERB</tt> in the <span class="uicontrol">User name</span> field.</p>
<p>Now
that you have created the user profiles on <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> A
and <span class="keyword">iSeries</span> B, you can create
the home directories for all of the <span class="keyword">i5/OS</span> user
profiles.</p>
