registry definition</a>, you must be connected to the Enterprise Identity
|
||
|
|
Mapping (EIM) domain in which you want to work and you must have
|
||
|
|
EIM administrator <a href="rzalveservereimauths.htm#rzalveservereimauths">access
|
||
|
|
control</a>.</p>
|
||
|
|
<p>To add an application registry definition to an EIM
|
||
|
|
domain, complete these steps:</p>
|
||
|
|

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Expand <span class="uicontrol">Network > Enterprise Identity Mapping > Domain
|
||
|
|
Management</span>. </span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Select the EIM domain in which you want to work. </span> <ul><li>If the EIM domain you want to work with is not listed under Domain Management,
|
||
|
|
see <a href="rzalvadmindomainadd.htm#rzalvadmindomainadd">Add an EIM domain to the Domain Management folder</a>.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>If you are not currently connected to the EIM domain in which you want
|
||
|
|
to work, see <a href="rzalvadmindomaincon.htm#rzalvadmindomaincon">Connect to an EIM domain</a>.</li>

||

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Expand the EIM domain to which you are now connected.</span></li>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">User Registries</span>, select <span class="uicontrol">Add

Registry</span>, then select <span class="uicontrol">Application...</span>.</span></li>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>In the <span class="uicontrol">Add Application Registry</span> dialog,
|
||
|
|
provide information about the application registry definition, as follows: </span><ol type="a"><li><span>A name for the application registry definition. </span></li>

<li><span>The name of the <a href="rzalvsysregdef.htm#rzalv_sys_reg_def">system
|
||
|
|
registry definition</a> of which the application user registry that you
|
||
|
|
are defining is a subset. The system registry definition that you specify
|
||
|
|
must already exist in EIM, otherwise creation of the application registry
|
||
|
|
definition fails.</span></li>

<li><span>A registry definition type.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>A description of the application registry definition.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>One or more aliases for the application registry definition,
|
||
|
|
if necessary.</span></li>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click <span class="uicontrol">Help</span>, if necessary, to determine what

|
information to provide for each field.</span></li>

the registry definition to the EIM domain.</span></li>
