<div><p>By default, the job log server automatically starts when the QSYSWRK
subsystem starts. You can manually start a job log server by using the Start
Job Log Server (<span class="cmdname">STRLOGSVR</span>) command.</p>
<div class="section">When you use the <span class="cmdname">STRLOGSVR</span> command, you can specify
the number of additional job log servers that you want to start, or you can
let the system calculate the needed number for you. If the number of servers
requested exceeds the maximum active allowed, only the difference between
the maximum and current number of active servers will be started. The maximum
number of job log servers that can be active or on a job queue at one time
is 30.</div>

parameters of this command. Complete the window and click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>.</span> The window closes and you are returned to the Run Command window.</li>

command immediately, or you can click <span class="uicontrol">Schedule</span> to schedule
