expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">My Connections</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">server</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Work Management</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Memory Pools</span> &gt; <span class="uicontrol">Active Pools</span></span> or <span class="uicontrol">Shared Pools</span>.</span> <p>The Active Pools container displays both shared and private pools
as long as they are active. The Shared Pools container displays all of the
shared pools regardless of their current status. Inactive private pools do
not exist beyond the pool definition until they are activated by the subsystem.
Thus they cannot be viewed using iSeries Navigator. </p>
