<div><div class="section">Each user that will connect to i5/OS™ and i5/OS applications needs a directory in

||
|
|
the /home directory. This directory will contain the name of the user's Kerberos
|
||
|
|
credentials cache. To create a home directory for a user, complete the following:</div>
|
||
|

<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>On the i5/OS command line, enter: <tt>CRTDIR '/home/user profile'</tt> where <tt>user
|
||
|
|
profile</tt> is the i5/OS user profile name for the user.</span> For
|
||
|
|
example, <tt>CRTDIR '/home/JOHND'</tt> for the user John Day.</li>
|
||

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Repeat this command for Sharon Jones, but specify her i5/OS user profile, <tt>SHARONJ</tt>.</span></li>
