<div><div class="section">You need to use the Collect Inventory function in iSeries™ Navigator

to add the Kerberos authentication settings to an inventory for the target
|
||
|
|
systems in the MyCo2 system group. To collect inventory for the MyCo2 system
|
||
|
|
group, complete the following tasks:</div>

||

||
|
|
expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Management Central (iSeriesA)</span> > <span class="uicontrol">System
|
||
|
|
Group</span></span>.</span></li>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>Right-click <span class="uicontrol">MyCo2 system group</span> and select <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Inventory</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Collect</span></span>.</span></li>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>On the <span class="uicontrol">Collect Inventory - MyCo2 system group</span> page,
|
||
|
|
select <span class="uicontrol">System values</span>. Click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>.</span> By default, a dialog box is displayed that indicates the Synchronize
|
||
|
|
Functions Collect Inventory task has started. However, if you have changed
|
||
|
|
the default setting, this dialog box is not displayed. Click <span class="uicontrol">OK</span>.</li>

<li class="stepexpand"><span>On the <span class="uicontrol">Collect Inventory Status</span> page, read
|
||
|
|
all the status values that display and fix any problems that you may encounter. </span> For details on specific status values related to inventory collection
|
||

that appear on this page, select <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">Help</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Task Status Help...</span></span>. From the <span class="uicontrol">Task
|
||
|
|
Status</span> help page, select <span class="uicontrol">Inventory</span>. This
|
||
|
|
page displays all the status values that you may encounter with detailed descriptions
|
||
|
|
and recovery information. </li>
