<p>If an irrecoverable tape media error occurs, do the following: </p>

||
|
|
not put the tape that failed with the other tapes that you already used during
|
||
|
|
the save storage operation. You cannot use the failed tape during the restore
|
||
|
|
storage operation.</span></li>

|
<li><span>Load a different tape in the media device.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Press the F3 key to return to the Use Dedicated Service Tools menu.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Go to <a href="rzaiurzaiu251.htm#rzaiu251">Resume a save storage operation</a>.</span></li>
