<div><p>Virtual OptiConnect allows one partition to communicate with another

partition if both partitions have virtual OptiConnect enabled.</p>
|
||
|

<p>Any partition can use virtual OptiConnect. You can enable virtual OptiConnect
|
||
|
|
at any time. When you enable or disable virtual OptiConnect, the changes take
|
||
|
|
effect immediately. No additional hardware is required to use virtual OptiConnect.
|
||
|
|
However, you must purchase the OptiConnect (a priced optional feature) <span class="keyword">i5/OS™</span> software to use
|
||
|
|
this feature.</p>
