<div><p>This topic provides instructions for removing Post Office Protocol

(POP) e-mail users by using iSeries™ Navigator.</p>
|
||
|

<div class="section">To remove an e-mail user from iSeries server, you must delete this
|
||
|
|
system distribution directory entry.</div>
|
||
|
|
<ol><li><span>In the character-based interface, type WRKDIRE (the Work with Directory
|
||
|
|
Entries command). The System Distribution Directory display appears.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Tab down until you are in the <var class="varname">Opt</var> field by the
|
||
|
|
user you want to delete.</span></li>
|
||
|
|
<li><span>Type a 4 (Remove) and press Enter. Press Enter again to confirm.
|
||
|
|
This prevents any more e-mail from being delivered to the user's POP mailbox.</span></li>

<li><span>Sign on to a POP mail client program as that user. Receive and
|
||
|
|
delete any e-mail.</span></li>
