<div><p>You need to configure the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)

server before you use it correctly for e-mail.</p>

<div class="section">When you configured TCP/IP, the server automatically configured SMTP
|
||
|
|
for you. All that remains is to change a few SMTP properties to ensure that
|
||
|
|
the SMTP server works correctly for e-mail.</div>

expand <span class="menucascade"><span class="uicontrol">your iSeries server</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Network</span> > <span class="uicontrol">Servers</span> > <span class="uicontrol">TCP/IP</span></span>.</span></li>

Properties</span> dialog box appears.</span></li>
