<div><p>Find steps to use when connecting to an independent
ASP through ODBC.</p>
<div class="section">To use <span class="uicontrol">independent ASPs</span> through ODBC, configure
your ODBC DSN and do the following:</div>
<ol><li class="stepexpand"><span>Select the <span class="uicontrol">Server</span> tab.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Click on "Override default database with the following:".</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>Specify the <span class="uicontrol">RDB name</span> that corresponds with
the <span class="uicontrol">Independent ASP</span> to connect.</span></li>
<li class="stepexpand"><span>If no RDB name is specified, the default RDB name is determined
from the job description of the user profile that is making the ODBC connection.
By default, the driver uses the setting of the user profile for the user making
the ODBC connection.</span> <p>For more information about <span class="uicontrol">independent
