<h3 id="rzahywebadmininter">Web administration tool</h3>
<p>Once you have logged on to the Web administration tool, you will find an
application window consisting of five parts:</p>
<dl>
<dt class="bold">Banner area</dt>
<dd>The banner area is located at the top of the panel and contains the
application name and IBM logo.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Navigation area</dt>
<dd>The navigation area, located on the left side of the panel, displays
expandable categories for various server content tasks such as:
<dl>
<dt class="bold">User properties</dt>
<dd>This task allows you to change the current user's password.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Schema management</dt>
<dd>This task allows you to work with object classes, attributes,
matching rules, and syntaxes.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Directory management</dt>
<dd>This task allows you to work with directory entries.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Replication management</dt>
<dd>This task allows you to work with credentials, topology, schedules,
and queues.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Realms and templates</dt>
<dd>This task allows you to work with user templates and realms.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Users and groups</dt>
<dd>This task allows you to work with users and groups in the defined realms.
For example, if you want to create a new Web user, the <span class="bold">Users and groups</span> task works with a single group objectclass, groupOfNames.
You cannot tailor the group support.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Server administration</dt>
<dd>This task allows you to change server configuration and security settings.
</dd>
</dl>
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Work area</dt>
<dd>The work area displays the tasks associated with the selected task in
the navigation area. For example, if Managing server security is selected
in the navigation area, the work area displays the Server Security page and
the tabs containing tasks related to setting up server security.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Server status area</dt>
<dd>The server status area, located at the top of the work area. The icon
on the left-hand side of the server status area indicates the current status
of the server. Next to the icon is the name of the server being administered.
The icon on the right-hand side of the server status area provides a link
to the online help.
</dd>
<dt class="bold">Task status area</dt>
<dd>The task area, located beneath the work area, displays the status of
the current task.
</dd>
