<h3 id="rzahqtbspi">STOP or blue screen errors</h3>
<p>When you get blue screen errors, take the following actions to try to determine
the cause of the errors and how to correct the errors:</p>
<ol type="1">
<li>On the i5/OS command line, type <tt>DSPMSG QSYSOPR</tt>.</li>
<li>Press Enter. The QSYSOPR message queue appears.</li>
<li>Look through the messages for any that may help you determine what caused
the blue screen.</li>
<li>Restart the integrated server by varying it off, then back on, from i5/OS
(see <a href="rzahqstartnstop.htm#rzahqstartnstop">Start and stop an integrated server</a>).</li>
<li>Inspect the Event log on Windows for errors, type of stop code, and other
diagnostic information.</li>

<li>If the problem still persists, check the technical information databases
at the
