<h4 id="rzahqreset">Reset the NWSD configuration file parameter</h4>
<p>You can set the Configuration file parameter of the NWSD to *NONE to prevent
the changes that are causing errors from being made to the integrated server
file. To prevent i5/OS from using your NWSD configuration file, follow these
steps.</p>
<ol type="1">
<li>On the i5/OS command line, type <tt>WRKNWSD</tt> to
work with your network server descriptions (NWSD).</li>
<li>On the line by the network server that is having problems, choose option <tt>2</tt> (Change).</li>
<li>In the <tt>Configuration file</tt> field, select *NONE.</li>
<li>Vary on the network server and see if the error has gone away.</li></ol>

<dt class="bold"><span class="bold">Note:</span></dt>
<dd>Existing modifications to any files that are processed by a configuration
file will remain unchanged. A .BKU file exists with the file contents before
the last modification performed by varying on the server. This file can be
used to replace the changed version or the file can be restored from a previous
backup if one is available.
