<div><p></p>
<div class="section"><p>The <a href="javadoc/com/ibm/as400/util/html/HTMLForm.html"> HTMLForm</a> class represents an HTML form.
This class allows you to: </p>
<ul><li>Add an element, like a button, hyperlink or HTML table to a form</li>
<li>Remove an element from a form</li>
<li>Set other form attributes, such as which method to use to send form contents
to the server, the hidden parameter list, or the action URL address</li>
</ul>
<p>The constructor for the HTMLForm object takes a URL address. This
address is referred to as an action URL. It is the location of the application
on the server that will process the form input. The action URL can be specified
on the constructor or by setting the address using the <a href="javadoc/com/ibm/as400/util/html/HTMLForm.html#SETURL(JAVA.LANG.STRING)"> setURL()</a> method. Form attributes are set
using various <a href="javadoc/com/ibm/as400/util/html/HTMLForm.html#SETHIDDENPARAMETERLIST(JAVA.UTIL.PROPERTIES)"> set</a> methods and retrieved using various <a href="javadoc/com/ibm/as400/util/html/HTMLForm.html#GETHIDDENPARAMETERLIST()"> get</a> methods.</p>
<p>Any HTML tag element
may be added to an HTMLForm object using <a href="javadoc/com/ibm/as400/util/html/HTMLForm.html#ADDELEMENT(COM.IBM.AS400.UTIL.HTML.HTMLTAGELEMENT)"> addElement()</a> and removed using <a href="javadoc/com/ibm/as400/util/html/HTMLForm.html#REMOVEELEMENT(COM.IBM.AS400.UTIL.HTML.HTMLTAGELEMENT)"> removeElement()</a>. Use the following HTML
tag element classes in your HTMLForms:</p>
<ul><li><a href="formin.htm#formin">FormInput classes</a>: represent input
elements for an HTML form</li>
<li><a href="layform.htm#layform">LayoutFormPanel classes</a>: represent
a layout of form elements for an HTML form</li>
<li><a href="txtarea.htm#txtarea">TextAreaFormElement</a>: represents
a text area element in an HTML form</li>
<li><a href="labelfrm.htm#labelfrm">LabelFormElement</a>: represents
a label for an HTML form element</li>

for a SelectFormElement object in an HTML form</li>
<li><a href="radiofrm.htm#radiofrm">RadioFormInputGroup</a>: represents
a group of radio input objects which allow a user to select one from a group</li>
</ul>
<p>Of course, you can add other tag elements to a form, including the
following:</p>
<ul><li><a href="htmltxt.htm#htmltxt">HTMLText</a></li>
<li><a href="htmllnk.htm#htmllnk">HTMLHyperlink</a></li>
<li><a href="htmltabl.htm#htmltabl">HTMLTable</a></li>
</ul>
