<h4 id="joblogdetails">Details: Events that start the QNETWARE and QPRFSYNCH jobs</h4>
|

<p>When the QSYSWRK subsystem starts, an autostart job (QFSIOPJOB) runs and
|
||
|
|
submits both the QNETWARE and QPRFSYNCH jobs to run in this subsystem if needed.</p>
|
||
|
|
<p>If either job ends, it restarts automatically when one of these actions
|
||
|
|
occurs: </p>
|
||
|
|
<ul>
|
||
|
|
<li>You start the QSYSWRK subsystem and install NetWare Enhanced Integration or enroll iSeries™ group or
|
||
|
|
user profiles.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>You use option 6 (Retry entry) for any group or user profile on the Work
|
||
|
|
with NWS User Enrollment display. The entry can be in a *CURRENT state or
|
||
|
|
any other pending or failed state.</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>You change the enrollment of a group or user profile on NetWare (by using
|
||
|
|
the CHGNWSA or CHGNWSUSRA command).</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>You set or change one of these values for a user or group that is enrolled
|
||
|
|
to NetWare (by using the CRTUSRPRF, CHGUSRPRF, or RSTURSPRF command):
|
||
|
|
<ul>
|
||

|
<li>Password</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Password expiration date</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Password expiration interval</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>Status (enabled or disabled)</li>
|
||

<li>You change the password (with the CHGPWD command) for a user profile that
|
||
|
|
is enrolled on NetWare.</li>

||

<li>You delete a user profile (with the DLTUSRPRF command) that was previously
|
||
|
|
enrolled on NetWare.</li></ul>

||
|

<p>The QNETWARE and QPRFSYNCH jobs remain active while the QSYSWRK subsystem
|
||
|
|
is active. There are no user interfaces (other than the ENDJOB and ENDSBS
|
||
|
|
commands) to end these functions. Their role is to remain active in these
|
||
|
|
situations:</p>
|
||
|
|
<ul>
|

|
<li>When any profile enrollment requests are active or pending</li>
|
||
|
|
<li>When you install NetWare Enhanced Integration even though you are not enrolling profiles</li></ul>
