<div><p>The DROP PACKAGE statement includes the PACKAGE parameter for distributed
|
||
|
|
relational database. You can issue the DROP PACKAGE statement by embedding
|
||
|
|
it in a program or by using Interactive SQL.</p>
|
||
|
|
<div class="section"><p>When you issue a DROP PACKAGE statement, the SQL package and its
|
||
|
|
description are deleted from the application server (AS). This has the same
|
||
|
|
result as a <span class="cmdname">Delete Structured Query Language Package (DLTSQLPKG)</span> command
|
||
|
|
entered on a local server. No other objects dependent on the SQL package are
|
||
|
|
deleted as a result of this statement.</p>
|
||

delete it: </p>

||

<ul><li>The system authority *EXECUTE on the referenced collection</li>
|
||
|

<li>The system authority *OBJEXIST on the SQL package</li>

||
