<p>The Display Mounted File System Information (STATFS) command displays information about a mounted file system.
</p>
<p>This command can also be issued using the following alternative command name:

<h3>Object (OBJ)</h3>
<p>Specifies the path name of an object that is within the mounted file system whose statistics are to be displayed. Any object in the mounted file system can be specified. For example, it can be a directory (*DIR) or a stream file (*STMF).
</p>
<p>For more information on specifying path names, refer to "Object naming rules" in the CL concepts and reference topic in the iSeries Information Center at http://www.ibm.com/eserver/iseries/infocenter.

<p>This is a required parameter.

<p>Specifies whether the output from the command is displayed at the requesting work station or printed with the job's spooled output.
</p>

<p>The alternative command name for STATFS is DSPMFSINF. The following examples use the alternative command name, but STATFS can be replaced directly for DSPMFSINF in all of them.

<p><b>Example 1: Displaying Statistics of a Mounted File System</b>

<p>This command displays the statistics for the mounted file system that contains <i>/jsmith/file1</i>.

<p><b>Example 2: Displaying QSYS.LIB File System Statistics</b>
