<p>The Change Service Provider Attributes (CHGSRVPVDA) command displays and changes the configuration attributes of the service provider.
</p>
<p><b>Restriction:</b> This command is shipped with public *EXCLUDE authority and the QSRV and QSRVBAS user profile have private authority to use the command.

<p>Specifies when remote problem log entries are created.

<p>Specifies that program temporary fixes (PTFs) are sent automatically in response to a PTF order or service request.

<h3>Message queue (MSGQ)</h3>
<p>Specifies the name of the message queue to which messages are sent.
</p>
<p>The possible value is:
</p>

<dd>The value does not change.

<p>The name of the message queue can be qualified by one of the following library values:
</p>
<dl>
<dt><b>*LIBL</b></dt>
<dd>All libraries in the job's library list are searched until the first match is found.
</dd>
<dt><b>*CURLIB</b></dt>
<dd>The current library for the job is searched. If no library is specified as the current library for the job, QGPL is used.
</dd>
<dt><b><i>library-name</i></b></dt>
<dd>Specify the name of the library to be searched.
</dd>

<h3>Maximum distribution (MAXDST)</h3>
<p>Specifies the maximum number of kilobytes (KB) that can be used for each Program Temporary Fix (PTF) order or service request that receives a response. You can specify a maximum of 5000 KB.

<p>The possible values are:
</p>

<dt><b><u>*SAME</u></b></dt>
<dd>The number of KB does not change.
</dd>
<dt><b>*NOMAX</b></dt>
<dd>Any number of kilobytes can be transmitted.
</dd>
<dt><b><i>maximum-number-of-kilobytes</i></b></dt>
<dd>Specify the maximum number of KB for PTFs to be sent. Valid values range from 1 through 5000.
</dd>

<p>Specifies that PTFs that are received are marked as held or are available for distribution.

<p>Specifies whether requests should be automatically forwarded to the next service provider.

<dd>Requests are not forwarded. They are handled at this service provider.

<p><b>Example 2: Directing Messages to Another Queue</b>

<p>This command directs all messages created on the service provider, as a result of receiving alert messages or service requests, to the message queue named MSGQ in the library named USERLIB.
</p>
<p><b>Example 3: Holding PTFs</b>
</p>

</p>
<p>This command specifies that all PTFs received through electronic customer support or from distribution media are to be held. They are not available for distribution. You can specify the RLSPTF command to release a PTF for distribution.

<p><b>Example 4: Specifying Maximum Size for Distribution</b>
</p>

<p>This command specifies that PTFs can have a maximum size of only 1000 bytes for distribution through electronic customer support.
