<p>The <strong>readdir_r_ts64()</strong> function initializes the <samp>
dirent</samp> structure that is referenced by <em>entry</em> to represent the
next directory entry in the directory stream that is associated with <em>
dirp</em>. <strong>readdir_r_ts64()</strong> differs from <strong>
readdir_r()</strong> in that it accepts 8-byte process local pointers.</p>
